We're all so interconneted - we have business coleagues all over the country - and the world! And friends and family have moved (or we're the ones who moved). We want to stay connected, and LOVE sending flowers.

And the internet has made information accessible, and not always the most efficient, believe it or not.

Have you have ever gone online to order flowers in another location, and looked up at the clock and saw 20, 30, 45 minutes have gone by in all the research and you're still not sure or haven't ordered anything yet??! It's so easy to let time get away with us!

Ask yourself: Do I have the time to research and the knowhow to find an actual local florist? Did you know there are digital online marketing companies whose focus is selling flowers and don't actually touch them. If you’re not sure, read this other blog post for tips of what to look for.

True story - one woman this spring called us irate - ‘Why did YOU deliver my flowers??! I ordered them from a local florist and it wasn’t you!’ - find the rest of the story here

Here are some other helpful questions to think about:

  • How much is my time worth?
  • Do I know how to identify a true local florist?
  • Do I know how to communicate what I want?
  • Do I even know what I want or would I like the help of a professional with the selection?
  • Do I want luscious seasonal flowers that are hard to get?
  • Do I want the most flowers for the cheapest price? And am I ok with flowers being delivered in a box for them to assemble?
  • Do I want an artistically designed arrangement? And if so, do I know how to communicate with the florist to have them clearly understand what I'm looking for?

If all this seems overwhelming, we're here for you. Here's how it works.
