So, you see the 'on sale' email and you wonder 'Why?'. I know I ask this all the time to myself. When most shops have a sale, they are trying to move old inventory or the things just aren't selling. Other stores will have a 'loss leader' that they use to get you in the door - they lose money on the item so that you'll buy other things. In our flower shop, it's just the opposite! We bring special flowers in just so we can offer you a savings, and not to trick you or do a bait and switch.
Here are some of the flowers that are great to watch for - for availability and for specials!

Here's how it works: Almost every week most florists have the option to purchase a larger quantity of one or more types of flowers
. This enables florists to purchase at a better price, thus creating the opportunity to give you a special deal without losing money on our end. It's a win-win for everyone! Many of them are at the height of their season and so the growers are offering specials. Others are ordered in for a special event by another vendor and there are bunches left. And others are ones that we purchase in a 'box lot' where we order a quantity and purchase at a discount.
Most of our specials show up on our website with a coupon code, so you can check there regularly. However, feel free to call and ask us for any specials we are running. Sometimes we get such a limited quantity that we don't take the time to post it. We might send a tweet
or a facebook
update about it, though. Stay in touch, or ask us when you order, about what we have in this week!
Wedding clients can ask to have seasonal flowers and flowers on special added into the palette of flowers that are added in. This can give you larger arrangements for the same money, or help you maximize your budget.
